ICE Talks 2024
ICE Talks 2024 is a special set of sessions that will cater to working papers and poster presentations which will run parallel to the conference presentations during 6th National eLearning Conference on September 4-6, 2024. These sessions aim to encourage students or professionals to share their knowledge, expertise, insights, experiences, thesis/capstone output or startup ventures on any education-related solutions or innovation on the integration of AI in the workplace learning without the rigor of submitting a full paper for review.
The integration of AI into professional workplace learning signifies a significant shift in how employees acquire and apply new skills. Some associated key concepts include but are not limited to AI-driven personalized learning platforms, virtual assistants and chatbots that offer on-demand support, automated assessment tools that enable real-time feedback and performance tracking, predictive analytics anticipate future learning needs, ethical aspects such data privacy and bias mitigation, innovations staff onboarding and upskilling.
Interested participants are expected to submit a title and a 100-word pitch about the proposed presentation via Google Forms. These submissions will be reviewed by the PeLS BOT and successful applications will be notified via email and text message.

Ice Talk Presenters will also be invited to submit a full paper for publication in the PeLS Online Journal,

- Attend onsite on September 4-6 , 2024 at LPU, Davao City
- Prepare a presentation material to be shown during the 15-minute time allotment
- For startups, they have the option to have a small exhibit table at the presentation room to meet potential users
- Create a 5-minute video version of their presentation to be uploaded on the PeLS website
After the presentation, participants will receive a certificate of presentation for the PeLS ICE Talks 2024
Ice Talk Presenters will also be invited to submit a full paper for publication in the PeLS Online Journal,
