ABOUT THE CONGRESS

This year’s Congress will focus on the discourse on preparing learners as the digital workforce of tomorrow. As more and more employers require potential employees to be technology literate, learners must be trained and be equipped with future-ready skills they need for the jobs of the future as early as when they are still in the confines of the academic institutions. Hard truth is that the education sector is one of the last to adjust to the disruption brought about by digitization. The aim of the Congress is to be a neutral ground for discussion of the need for a serious disruption in the educational system, to prepare learners for a future workforce transformed by technology, be it in the K-12 or higher education level.

Specifically, it is the aim of this Congress to be a platform to address the following:
  • the role of eLearning on the discourse on the symbiotic relationship between the future of education and the future of work.
  • the search for new eLearning models, methods and solutions that will be beneficial to stakeholders in the education, business and corporate sectors;
  • identify smart ways of enhancing education for the future by looking at incorporating soft-skills acquisition built it in the formal education system.
  • explore relevant issues, anticipate challenges and design solutions in the spirit of cooperation, collaboration and scholarly exchange among stakeholders.
