Kapihan in Ilocos 2016

The Philippine eLearning Society (PeLS) is the country’s leading organizations in promoting and advancing eLearning in the academe, corporate, government and non-profit institutions. For more than a decade now, PeLS has been providing resources and training to address the educational technology needs in the country. PeLS also serves as a venue for sharing eLearning experiences and best practices among stakeholders and promoting public awareness and appreciation of the nature and uses of eLearning as an effective tools in teaching and learning.
 
With our efforts to reach out to the regions this year, PeLS, in partnership with the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), will be holding a Kapihan on July 5, 2016 at Main Library Bldg., MMSU, Batac City. A Kapihan is an event where PeLS shares its expertise in the field of eLearning and ICT-integration with educators, school administrators and other stakeholders. The Kapihan is also an opportunity for educators, government workers, industry players and eLearning enthusiast to be a part of the growing family of the Philippine eLearning Society.


  The theme for this event is “PeLS-MMSU Kapihan: eLearning Tools for the 21st Century Teaching and Learning”. The Kapihan aims:

  1. to share appropriate and innovative online tools that can be used for integrating ICT in the classroom
  2. to share about blended learning and how it can be used in the classroom
  3. to introduce the concept of mobile learning
  4. to provide a venue for sharing experiences in the use of technology and best practices.

Registration fee of Php1,000.00 which covers 1-year automatic membership to PeLS, Snacks, Lunch and Certificate of Participation.
